Project Almanac (2015) +5

Project Almanac (2015)

Blaire Witch set a standard for shaky cameras; this director thought it was a good idea to make this look like a bad home movie. At least it’s part of the storyline that it’s a self-shot film.

The acting is pretty good. You get invested in the characters in the first half. It was going to get 4 stars until it got to the point where I’d like to see it again to understand it better.  Thereafter that it earned 5 of 5 Stars. I may not get around to seeing it again but I’d bet there’d be more to see.

Check Out Project Almanac on Hulu.  When a high school student and his friends discover blueprints for a machine that can send them back in time, the possibilities seem endless. They rewrite history, but by changing the past, they have threatened the future. ( )
